Chief Investment Officer and Board Member at TFI PZU
Piotr Dmuchowski is a Board Member of one of Poland's largest investment funds TFI PZU and is responsible for the investment department. Previously, he worked for almost 15 years at HSBC, where he held the position of Managing Director of the Global Markets department and Treasurer in Poland. He also worked on the issuance of Polish bonds in China (Panda bond) and the first green treasury bond in the world issued by Poland in December 2016. Since 2019, he has been the regional coordinator of CEESSA (Central Europe, South Africa, Israel, Turkey) for ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) products and projects within HSBC Global Markets. He holds a master's degree in international finance from the Warsaw School of Economics. He is also a graduate of Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh with a First Class Master of Arts with Honours degree. In March 2020, he completed a postgraduate degree in Sustainable Business at the University of Cambridge. In spring 2022 he finished the Private Markets Investment program at Oxford University and in the following year executive course in Fintech disruption at Stanford University. He is also a co-author of scientific articles in international academic journals (with impact factor >9) on sustainable investment and local authorities financing in Poland. Piotr also supports various non-profit organizations focusing on sustainable finance including being a co-founder and board member of the Poland Sustainable Investment Forum (PolSIF).
